Job Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled JD Edwards (JDE) Technical Consultant with expertise in payment modules to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) software and a deep understanding of payment processing workflows and modules within the JD Edwards system.


Responsibilities :

  • Provide technical expertise and support for the implementation, customization, and maintenance of payment modules within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and end-users to understand payment processing requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and customize payment modules, including but not limited to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), and credit card processing.
  • Configure payment processing workflows, rules, configurations and integrations with external payment gateways, banks, and financial institutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to payment modules, including system errors, data discrepancies, and performance optimizations.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing of payment modules to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with business requirements.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and technical support teams on payment module functionalities, configurations, and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest JD Edwards releases, patches, and updates related to payment processing functionality and incorporate them into existing systems as needed.
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk management activities related to payment module implementations and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to deliver comprehensive payment processing solutions that meet business objectives and regulatory Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • In-depth knowledge of payment processing concepts, including AP, AR, EFT, credit card processing, and electronic invoicing.
  • Proficiency in JD Edwards tools and technologies, including OMW (Object Management Workbench), Business Functions (BSFNs), Data Dictionary, and Table Conversions.
  • Strong understanding of JD Edwards architecture, database structures, and integration mechanisms (e.g., JDE Integrations, EDI, XML Publisher).
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Relevant JD Edwards certifications (e.g., JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Development, JD Edwards Financial Management) are a plus.
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or manufacturing is preferred.
