Position Summary:


The Head of HR / CHRO will be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation.

The CHRO will provide strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders, and the board of directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership:
  • Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.
  • Lead the HR function and provide strategic direction for all aspects of the HR practices and processes.
  • Partner with the executive team to create and implement effective HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Talent Management:
  • Oversee the talent acquisition process, ensuring the recruitment of high-caliber candidates.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive talent management strategies, including succession planning, career development, and leadership development.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Organizational Development:
  • Drive organizational change initiatives to enhance business performance.
  • Design and implement effective employee engagement and retention strategies.
  • Manage performance management systems to ensure fair and effective assessment of employee performance.
  • Compensation and Benefits:
  • Oversee the design and implementation of compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation and benefits.
  • HR Operations:
  • Ensure efficient and effective HR operations and processes.
  • Implement HR systems and technologies to improve efficiency and data management.
  • Manage HR budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment through effective employee relations strategies.
  • Address employee grievances and implement conflict resolution practices.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Post Graduation in Human Resources or a related field, preferably from a premier institute.
  • 20+ years of experience in HR, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in metal and heavy engineering.
  • Proven experience in strategic HR planning and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with HR technology and data analytics.
