The RoleUnified system admin at Kyndryl are project-based subject matter experts good at providing analysis, documenting and diagraming work for hand-off, offering timely solutions, and generally figuring it out.
This is a hands-on role where your feel for the interaction between a system and its environment will be invaluable to every one of your clients.
Contributing to current projects where you analyze problems and tech issues, offer solutions, and test, modify, automate, and integrate system.
This role isnt specific to any one platform, so youll need a good feel for all of them. And because of this, youll experience variety and growth at Kyndryl that you wont find anywhere else.Youll be involved early to offer solutions, help decide whether something can be done, and identify the technical and timeline risks up front.

There are lots of opportunities to gain certification and qualifications on the job, and youll continuously grow.
Many of our System Administrators are on a path toward becoming either an Architect or Distinguished Engineer, and there are opportunities at every skill level to grow in either of these directions.
Who You AreEssential Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide batch job support.
Release agreed batch job per job sheet or adhoc request.
Monitoring batch job status including overrun / msgw / not started / fail etc
Reporting, monitor the batch job status and report to the support team per instruction and raise a ticket.
Recover issue job per operation manual or instruction from pc/app team, including job rerun / force completed / on-hold / off-hold / release etc
Provide system monitoring support.
Monitor console and email to detect alert/event and do regular health check.
Follow operation manual to determine whether the next action required.
Follow procedure to call engineer for immediate action, open incident ticket & assign to the concerned team & send email
Informed IPC & Management Team for major incident reporting.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
At least 5 years experience in the IT industry and 4 years of relevant experience in batch & console monitoring
Have knowledge of batch job run.
Familiar with basic operations on the platform Windows / Linux / AS400
Have deep knowledge of infra system monitoring.
Familiar with console monitoring tools like netcool / datadog / nagios / Dynatrace etc
Familiar with job schedule tools autosys / Control-M /Quartz
Familiar with the ticketing system Service-Now.
Follow instruction and operation manual strictly.
Able to work shift to support 24*7 service.
Certificates/Credentials of platform foundation
Good working attitude and communication skill.
Ability to work under pressure.
