Our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team's goal is crystal clear: to ensure our organization's digital infrastructure is stable, scalable, and efficient. What you'll do at UiPath
About The Team:
  • Work alongside expert Software and System engineers in the SRE team, who are the guardians of Availability, Scalability, and Performance of our SaaS products.
  • Develop tools and frameworks for monitoring, analyzing performance, load testing, and even building full platform features used by other products.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and assist product teams in identifying performance bottlenecks.
  • Approach applications from a bottom-up system perspective rather than top-down.
  • Empower engineers to choose the challenges they work on, taking ownership from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive high availability, resiliency, performance, and business continuity of Cloud services.
  • Design with a focus on security, performance, and availability.
  • Uphold excellence in code quality through code reviews and standardization, contributing to team success.
  • Collaborate closely with dev teams to optimize their application performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Integrate performance testing into the software development lifecycle in collaboration with dev teams.
  • Create solutions and designs that support product or technology strategies, encouraging others to do the same.
  • Advocate for open infrastructure management solutions that align with our goals to keep technology relevant.
  • Navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Enhance service performance through smart solutions, not just adding more hardware.
What you'll bring to the team
  • Hands-On Experience: Demonstrate 6-12 years of hands-on experience in software delivery and site reliability within large-scale commercial software organizations, focusing on Network and HTTP performance optimization.
  • Live Site Troubleshooting: Skilled at troubleshooting live site issues and guiding engineering teams to swift resolutions.
  • Cloud Proficiency: Possess a solid understanding of public cloud services like Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.
  • Distributed Systems: Experience working with distributed systems and micro-service-based architectures.
  • HTTP Performance Optimization: Optimize HTTP protocols for efficient data transfer between servers and clients, implementing best practices for optimal performance.
  • Content Delivery Network (CDN) Management: Monitor and optimize CDN configurations for top-notch content delivery performance.
  • Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of web app performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks for improvement using various monitoring tools and profiling techniques.
  • Performance Testing: Design and run performance tests to simulate real-world usage and pinpoint potential bottlenecks.
