Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver creative and interactive lessons that engage children in handson learning experiences.
  • Conduct educational activities, games, and projects that encourage active participation and critical thinking.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work closely with other educators and staff to plan and execute effective learning programs.
  • Assess and track students' progress, providing feedback and support to ensure their academic and personal growth.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students during educational activities.

Work Location:


As an Abha Fellow, you will be placed in schools within underserved communities in the rural areas of South 24 Parganas.

All Fellows are required to reside in one of these locations for the duration of the Fellowship.

Compensation & benefits:

  • A stipend of INR 20000 per month.
  • Reimbursements for workrelated expenses (e.g. school supplies on a perchild cost basis).
  • Casual and sick leave, national, regional and school holidays.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Completed graduation by June/July 202
  • Do You Need Prior Teaching Experience? NO
We will provide the essential training needed to set you up for success in the classroom.
