Piping DesignEngineer

JobOverview: We are seeking a talented and motivated PipingDesign Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2years of work experience in piping design and be responsible forcreating detailed piping layouts and designs for various industrialprojects. The Piping Design Engineer will collaborate withmultidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful execution ofprojects from conception tocompletion.

Requirements1.

Piping Layout Design:
 Develop detailed piping layouts anddesigns in accordance with project specifications codes andstandards. Utilize computeraided design (CAD) software to createaccurate 2D and 3D models of pipingsystems.

Material Selection:
 Assist in the selection of appropriatepiping materials based on project requirements includingconsiderations for temperature pressure fluid compatibility andenvironmentalfactors.

Pipe Routing and Optimization: Optimize pipe routing tominimize interference with other equipment and structures whileensuring efficient flow and distribution of fluids. Identify andresolve clashes and conflicts in pipinglayouts.

4.

Technical Documentation:
 Prepare comprehensive technicaldrawings diagrams and specifications for piping systems includingisometric drawings piping plans and bill of materials (BOM). Ensuredocumentation is accurate detailed and compliant with regulatoryrequirements.

5.

Collaboration:

 Work closely with project managers engineersdesigners and other stakeholders to coordinate piping designactivities and ensure alignment with project objectives andtimelines. Participate in design reviews and provide technicalinput asneeded.

Quality Assurance:
 Conduct thorough reviews and checks ofpiping designs to verify accuracy completeness and compliance withindustry standards and project requirements. Address anydiscrepancies or deviations promptly andeffectively.

Site Support:
 Provide support during the construction phase ofprojects by responding to technical queries reviewing installationdrawings and conducting site inspections to ensure pipinginstallations meet designspecifications.

8.

Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about advancements inpiping design technologies codes and standards. Identifyopportunities for process improvements and contribute to thedevelopment of best practices and standardisation efforts withintheorganization.

Qualifications:


Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or relatedfield.
Minimum of 2 years ofexperience in piping design or relatedfield.
Proficiency in CADsoftware (AutoCAD SolidWorks etc.) for pipingdesign.
Strong understanding ofpiping codes and standards (ASME API ANSIetc.).
Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills.
Abilityto work effectively in a team environment and collaborate withmultidisciplinary teams.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks andpriorities.
