Position :
UPSC HISTORY FACULTY.

Responsibilities:

  • Instruct and guide students focusing on UPSC Civil Service exam preparation.
  • Provide mentoring and support to degree cum civil service students, fostering a conducive learning environment.
  • Incorporate innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and understanding.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments and relevant topics for civil service exams.
  • Assist students in developing critical thinking, analytical, and writing skills necessary for UPSC examinations.
  • Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Offer personalized guidance to students, addressing their academic concerns and career aspirations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
  • Stay informed about changes in the UPSC exam pattern and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

Requirements:

  • A strong educational background with a graduate degree.
  • Indepth knowledge of the UPSC Civil Service exam.
  • Experience in teaching.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and colleagues.
  • Passion for mentoring and guiding students in their academic and career pursuits.
  • Continuous selflearning to stay updated on evolving UPSC exam patterns and sociology trends.
  • Flexibility to work with a diverse group of students, including those pursuing degrees alongside civil service preparation.
  • Attended at least 2 prelims.
  • Should have given exam in English medium.
