Role overview :
As a member of Gogh Solutions, the Project Coordinator will support Project Managers with their projects and the Project Management Office (PMO).
This includes the creation and administration of the project schedule and documents, time and cost reporting; development and maintenance of project RAID log items, document repositories and assisting in the development of presentation material as required for project status reporting.
This candidate is also responsible for performing project governance and auditing in accordance with PMO standards.On a typical day the Project Coordinator would:
- Provide project planning, scheduling, budgeting, performance monitoring, variance analysis, status reporting input and resource planning to support Gogh Solutions' Project Managers
- Analyze and identify discrepancies between planned, forecasted, actual time and cost spent on a given project
- Perform proper tracking of the project schedule and budget for Project Managers to proactively apply corrective actions and/or measures, if required
- Support the Project Managers in providing key information into Project Status Reports (PSR)
- Maintain the project RAID log; perform follow ups on action items, monitor risk response implementations and advising Project Managers of deviations
- Assist Project Managers in monitoring, controlling, administering projects progress and performance (scope, time, cost, quality and risk) throughout the project lifecycle
- Perform timecard and or expense approvals per planned scheduled activities and/or established approved costs on behalf of the Project Manager
- Perform resource forecasting maintenance within the PMIS and advise Project Managers of deviations
- Ensure correct project templates are utilized based on practice, project size and complexity
- Ensure project artifacts are stored within respective document repositories
- Ensure project control procedures and policies are executed and functional according to Gogh Solutions' project methodology and performance standards for all projects
- Conduct quality management and/or governance project audits to ensure projects comply with the PMO project framework
- Provide project performance reporting to internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 2+ years' Project Coordinator experience, preferably within IT implementations
- Professional fluency in English
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and/or autonomously
- Excellent time management skills to support several Project Managers and multiple projects concurrently
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Good knowledge and hands on experience with Microsoft project tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint/Teams and Project
Nice to have:
- Experience in a Professional Services environment
- Experience working on IFS Solutions or large ERP type projects
- Experience with resource capacity tracking/management
