POSITION PURPOSE:

This position demands a resource with strong experience in Capital Market/Investment Banking, SQL along with Testing fundamentals (Functional/Regression/Automation). Automation Experience using Selenium with JAVA/Python.

Direct Responsibilities
3 to 5 years of Functional & Automation testing experience on various kinds of systems

Understand business functional requirements

Design and Execution of functional test cases

Document test results and follow-up with development team for resolving issues

Perform SIT and Regression testing as per the release plan

Should be able to perform all testing related activities in the project

Should have finance knowledge in Capital Market/Investment Banking

Should have Good knowledge of JIRA and SQL

Should have excellent communication Skills

Good knowledge of Backend Automation/REST

Good knowledge of Automation Testing - Selenium with JAVA/Python

Good programming and Analytical Skills

Ability to work within tight deadlines

Contributing Responsibilities:

Team work.

Communicating and escalating issues and status.

Providing regular status update to team lead and onshore during daily calls

Ensure all the Jira/Requirements for the release are tested within timeliness and schedule.

Maintain quality of deliverable

Ability to deliver on Functional testing timeliness.

Own and Drive Automation Activities within project.

TECHNICAL & BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:

Should have good knowledge of Test Management tools - JIRA, HP ALM

Should have good knowledge of Database - MS SQL Server

Develop and execute test automation through '

Selenium' tool

Proficiency in programming languages

JAVA/Python
Enhance test frameworks and develop automated tests using

Selenium tool to ensure consistency

Should have good communication skills

Good documentation skills

Highly Regarded
Capital Market/Investment Banking knowledge
