You will participate in testing large software systems that are integral to advanced 5G NR gNB infrastructure, with a focus on 5G NR RF and PHY. Your responsibilities will include test planning, execution, and automation of gNB features. This role entails testing, integration, troubleshooting, and software quality assurance activities. You will have exposure to Qualcomm's innovative SoC, HW platforms, and 5G NR system specifications. Ideal candidates should have a keen interest in emerging technologies, a willingness to learn, enjoy a lab environment, possess a proactive attitude, and a hands-on approach to tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in a technical setting.

  • Acumen to read and understand the 3GPP spec and develop innovative test designs using industry-standard equipment
  • Solid foundation in Wireless communications, Digital Signal Processing, Information & Coding Theory
  • 1-5 years of testing experience in one or more radio access technologies such as 5G NR, LTE, UMTS, Wifi focusing on MAC, PHY, RF testing
  • Experience with test equipment like channel emulator, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in designing and developing 5G NR/ LTE L1 PHY testing scenarios, L2 MAC testing scenarios, and/or RF testing scenarios
  • Proficiency in complex software debugging
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic team environment
  • Familiarity with Qualcomm QXDM, QCAT, JTAG debugger is advantageous
  • Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python is beneficial

Educational Requirements

Required: Bachelor's in Engineering, Electronic Communication, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science

Preferred: Master's in Electronic Communication, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
