Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8.5 hours between 7am to 5pm with a 30-minute lunch. Services may be required on the day of observance of Federal holidays. No Weekends, No CallJob Specific Details and Tasks:
  • Plan and organize work under minimal supervision
  • Participate in research and performance improvement studies
  • Conduct thorough nutrition assessment/evaluation
  • Apply principles of enteral and parenteral nutrition support
  • Coordinate medical nutrition therapy
  • Apply food service management principles
Additional Duties:
  • Coordinate with Fitness Leaders for program participation
  • Develop and teach nutrition programs for beneficiaries
  • Teach dietary principles to all age groups
  • Provide health promotion classes
  • Offer individualized medical nutrition therapy
  • Review and personalize diets prescribed by physicians
Minimum Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree accredited by ACEND or completion of a Dietetic Internship ProgramExperience: One year of specialized experience in diet therapyLicensure: Must have a current unrestricted license as a Registered DietitianLife Support Certification: Current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certificationSecurity: Must pass a Government background check/security clearanceRemote Work: No
