The Role:
Responsiblefor developing and optimizing database models to store and retrievecompany information. They analyze system requirements, migrate data, and designdata models.

Secondary SkillSet - Cloud based platforms andtechnologies

Requirements

Data Strategy andArchitecture:

  • Develop andmaintain the organization's data strategy and roadmap.
  • Define anddesign the overall data architecture to support business objectives.
  • Identifydata sources, determine data quality requirements, and establish dataintegration and ingestion processes.
  • Design datamodels, schemas, and data flow diagrams for efficient and optimized datastorage and retrieval.

Data Governance andManagement:

  • Establishdata governance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure datasecurity, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Define andenforce data quality standards and data lifecycle management practices.
  • Collaboratewith data stewards to create and maintain data dictionaries, metadatarepositories, and data lineage documentation.

Data Integration andETL:

  • Design anddevelop efficient data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)processes.
  • Identifyand implement appropriate data integration technologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Ensure dataintegration processes are scalable, reliable, and performant.
  • Collaboratewith data engineers to optimize data pipelines and workflows.

Data Analytics andReporting:

  • Collaboratewith data scientists and analysts to understand analytical requirements.
  • Design andimplement data models and structures to support analytical needs.
  • Developstrategies for data aggregation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Optimizedata storage and retrieval for analytical workloads.

Collaboration andStakeholder Management:

  • Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams to understand their data needs.
  • Workclosely with business stakeholders to align data architecture with businessgoals.
  • Communicatedata architecture strategies, solutions, and recommendations to technical andnontechnical audiences.
  • Providetechnical leadership and guidance to other team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master'sdegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as aData Architect or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of datamanagement concepts, data modeling, and database design.
  • Proficiency in dataintegration, ETL, and data pipeline development.
  • Experience withcloudbased data platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with datagovernance practices, data security, and privacy regulations.
  • Strong analytical andproblemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communicationand collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to workeffectively in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
