Position Summary

The Vice President of Expense Management and Accounting Control is a pivotal role, responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of expense management, accounting control and financial operations. This leadership position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, a focus on process improvement, stakeholder management and a commitment to driving financial excellence. The role involves handling escalations, contributing to process re-engineering, ensuring tax compliance, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making, The VP will lead a team, foster a culture of collaboration, and work with multiple stakeholders across divisions. This position is instrumental in maintaining the integrity of financial data and achieving financial objectives. Role and Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Manage and lead the expense management and accounting control team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance within the team. Accounting oversight: Oversee accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Expense Management: Manage the end-to-end invoice processing, exception management and variance analysis. Identify costing saving opportunities and implement cost control measures. Process Improvement: Continuously improve accounting and expenses management process to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Lead and contribute to process re-engineering initiatives. Stakeholder management: Collaborate with various divisions and departments to ensure alignment with financial objectives. Handle escalations and inquiries related to expense and accounting. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements. Collaborate with tax authorities and manage external tax related escalations. Query Management: Address and resolve queries related to expense management and accounting promptly and effectively.

Qualification and Skills

Bachelor's/ Master's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field 9+ years of relevant experience Proven experience in accounting expense management and financial control, ideally in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations global and financial analysis Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience in process improvement and re-engineering. Proficient in using financial software and tolls. ERP Tools: Ariba, SAP S4, TeamConnect and Field Glass Ability to handle external escalations effectively. Strong leadership and team management capabilities Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details. Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to the organization's growth. Minimum 10-15 years' experience in a similar role
