UKG (Strategic Workforce Planning division) is looking for an energetic and passionate individual who will work within an end-to-end delivery team to optimize our user experience.


As part of this role, she/he will be expected to lead the design of the product from inception to implementation; work with the Product Manager to define the team's deliverables; oversee the quality of the work produced by the team; interact with the UX leadership on matters concerning the team or the product; support the drive towards the product vision and encourage the teams to test and learn with nimble solutions and creative concepts.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design of the product from inception to implementation
  • Advocate for the users' needs and the usability of the product
  • Advocate and promote the larger UX strategy within each domain and within the interaction design team
  • Help the interaction designers in choosing pertinent UX activities in the course of a design cycle
  • Act as a bridge between the delivery team and the wider UX organization to ensure alignment with UKG standards
  • Ensure consistency of user experience and tone across all designs produced.
  • Participate in / lead refinement with the engineering team to ensure alignment

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of interaction design techniques to create engaging user experiences
  • Confident in challenging Product management requirements
  • Willing to find compromise to find optimal solutions which balance delivery timelines and great UX
  • Good at creating wireframes and have a good familiarity with one of the tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Microsoft Visio.
  • Excellent knowledge of technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS and JQuery
  • A good understanding of CSS libraries and frameworks such as Bootstrap, Less, Sass will be an asset.
  • Strong communication skills with business owners as well as developers must have the ability to articulate design rationale
  • Stays current on and strategically applies the latest industry and design trends and stateoftheart techniques.
  • Knowledge of commonly used interaction design patterns and techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, multitasking and presentation skills
  • Ability to solve problems and meet deadlines with mínimal supervision
  • Highly motivated and organized
  • Able to work in a team environment, and follow brand guidelines and take design direction with positive attitude

EDUCATION
- degree equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of related work experience
