Oracle Supply Chain Functional Consultant

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Oracle E-Biz R12 SCM track independently involving strategy, implementation support, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) optimisation related to Information Technology (IT) operations, business processes, security, and data integrity for the Oracle onpremises and applications
  • Lead the daytoday activities of Oracle eBusiness Suite consisting of Procurement, Distribution and Manufacturing suite
  • Work directly with the users to analyse, create, and support business solutions
  • Assist in the support and ongoing enhancement of the Oracle E-Business Suite R12
  • Act as a single point of contact for clients for Application support
  • Act as a liaison between onsite and offshore application support teams for daytoday coordination of support activities
  • Assist in the support and ongoing enhancement of the Oracle E-Business Suite R12
  • Work on complex solutions where strong data analysis and evaluation of business cases is required
  • Write and maintain functional documentation to capture requirements, design, test cases and changes.
  • Test and verify solutions, data mapping and definitions
  • Provide technical assistance with troubleshooting by responding to inquiries and questions
  • Provide adhoc data requested by the business by running SQL queries in the database whenever 510 years as a Business/Functional Analyst in and of the following functional areas: Inventory, Purchasing, iprocurement, Bills of Materials (BOM), Work in Process (WIP), Order Management, Advance Pricing, Approvals Management
  • Handson maintenance, and support experience with the Oracle EBS modules, tools, and associated components, including configuration/customisation strategies and implementations, workflows, groups, roles, etc.
Experience in Oracle Projects is a plus

  • Should be able to write SQL queries in TOAD, SQL developer to fetch the data from the backend
  • Have performed as a liaison between business teams and IT
  • Work in a selfdirected mode
  • Facilitate and lead meetings with all levels of internal and external personnel.
  • Ability to negotiate solutions across functions
  • Communicate articulately with business and technical personnel
  • Create clear, complete and concise documents and analytical instruments
  • Five full implementation as a Functional Lead or Project Lead on SCM modules
  • Strong verbal and analytical skills
  • Detailed understanding of concepts and general module functionality
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills within a business and/or technical context, particularly with translating customer requirements into technical solutions.
