NCR VOYIX is looking for a Software Engineer II to join our Hospitality team in Hyderabad.
Our aim is to turn the every day into a great consumer experience, turn the restaurant into a place where you're being served quickly, get exactly what you ordered, get great service, be able to provide feedback, and pay using mobile.
Restaurant operators need to spend their valuable time managing customer relationships and providing a unique restaurant experience. NCR Voyix will handle providing actionable, predictive information to improve profitability and overall customer experience. NCR Voyix owns the restaurant software industry with more restaurants deployed than any other provider and is uniquely positioned to drive this change in the hospitality business.

Plan, execute and close projects / initiatives Collaborate with product managers and product owners to understand the requirements and scope Collaborate with other Project Managers / Program Managers and Leadership team to manage / mitigate Risks, Issues and Dependencies. Present the Metrics and the status of the Project(s) Must be a self-starter who pushes through their projects with minimal direction/handholding. Must have a strong desire to add value to the customer's experience and overall success. Must have strong work ethics and should be a team player. Coordinate with all stakeholders for the flawless execution of projects Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders ensuring technical feasibility Ensure resource availability and allocation Develop a detailed project plan to track progress Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques (Project Management tools like JIRA etc.) Set out the project boundaries and scope for the project which formulates into a plan of action and assists in successful completion of the project. Report and escalate to management as needed Perform risk management to minimize project risks Perform dependency management Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.Experience
Graduate in any discipline but an engineering graduate is preferable. 4-7 years of Project Management experienceExperience in project planning and implementation to prioritize work activities and accomplish project goals within set timeframesSound knowledge to successfully complete assigned projects within set deadlines and timelines PMP or Prince 2 certifications, knowledge of Scrum and SAFe. Understanding of cloud is an added advantage 2+ years of experience in applying new technologies and techniques on various process control tools and equipment's. Excellent communicator and presentation skills Leadership skills – taking control of how a project will unfold requires someone who can direct others, delegate, boost morale, solve problems, and keep everything flowing Organization skills – the success of a project hinges on steps being done properly and on time Attention to detail – allowing things to slip through the cracks can derail progress and cost valuable money and time Multitasking skills – demands come from various people throughout the day, and software project managers must prioritizeOffers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job
