  • Responsible for overseeing developers and operations engineers to create and maintain the cloud infrastructure in a hybrid and multicloud environment
  • Contribute to strategic planning for cloud solutions
  • Develops and maintains service capacity forecasts, responsible for the daytoday capacity and proactive management of services.
  • Proactively monitors cloudbased service offerings as they move through development, continuous integration, and preproduction, in addition to production itself.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for coaching and managing a growing global cloud and DevOps team
  • Manage the implementation of successful DevOps solutions in a AWS Cloud environment
  • Manage the SCRUM process for DevOps and Cloud based teams
  • Responsible for aligning objectives and roadmaps with Agile planning
  • Responsible for maintaining technical relevance as a technical manager
  • Ideal candidate should have 9+ years of prior experience in developing automation with DevOps tools for IT infrastructure such as: network, server, hypervisor, IaaS, etc. within AWS.
  • Explore and evaluate new technologies and solutions to push capabilities forward, getting ahead of our business needs, getting people incentivized to transform, innovate and continually improve.
  • Ensure the quality and performance of the platform through fully automated functional and performance testing.
  • Ensure deployment framework is tightly integrated across all workstreams and follows standard processes.
  • Responsible for training employees on all aspects of job (technical and admin)
  • Write and maintain technical documentation and requirements related to DevOps technologies
  • Monitor cloud consumption to detect, investigate, and escalate anomalies and unplanned spikes.
  • Responsible for maintaining and forecasting a departmental budget within an acceptable variance
  • Responsible for tracking and forecasting toolset utilization and capacity
  • Responsible for managing a follow the sun engineering and operations team.

Minimum Education Required :
Bachelor's Degree in technology field Technical Certifications highly preferred : Public Cloud Certification(s), DevOps tools certification(s)

Years And Type Of Experience Required :

  • Experience at utilizing toolsets such as: Terraform, Jenkins.
  • Have detailed experience in understanding the Security footprint of the Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in handson Cloud Administration
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience managing Cloud Operations teams.
  • Experience designing DevOps pipelines and architecture
  • Ability to participate in fastpaced DevOps and Engineering teams within Scrum agile processes
  • Experience consulting with business process and functional unit owners
  • Basic knowledge of querying and organizing data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Motivated, resultsoriented selfstarter, curious and inquisitive
  • Must be capable of performing effective touchpoint/counseling with team members. Experience mentoring and coaching a small to medium sized team
