  • Troubleshooting technical issues
  • Develop procedures for AIX/Linux security andmanagement.
  • Update standard policies accordingto environment changes and audit result
  • Support AIX/Linux OS to run various softwareapplications
  • Plan and coordinate theinstallation testing and maintenance of AIX systems software andrelated hardware.
  • Plan and execute AIX/Linuxprojects within approved timelines.
  • Analyzesoftware and hardware environments to determine any systemdefects.
  • Maintain documentation of AIX/Linuxhardware and software components and user and operatorprocedures.
  • Detect and troubleshoot systemoperational and functional issues.
  • Performperformance maintenance routines to ensure continuous systemavailability.
  • Develop and implement disasterrecovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
  • Planning Backup/Restoration Strategy for 24x7 operationsupport
  • Perform H/W & performance tuningand maintenance
  • DaytoDay reporting analysistasks
  • Vendor coordination &followup.
