Position Summary:
The Construction Automation Engineer will be assigned to the Construction Application Support Group (ASG).

The team provides all automation related support including application configuration, testing and deployment of Construction applications and provide technical and work-process guidance to application developers supporting Construction BSAPs.


Responsibilities:

Provide construction application support, software engineering and business analysis for Advance Work Package Program, including coordinating with other functional software.

Responsible for creating and SQL queries, PowerShell scripts, troubleshooting and resolution the issues on application window servers and databases.
Responsible for EIS/Data broker exchanges and coordinate with data broker and cross function team.
Coordinate with the Construction Automation Lead, energy GBU and functional management for successful implementation of the AWP program.

Coordinate with project teams to ensure Project automation plans comply with BSAP standards Support end user training for Construction applications.

Role will also include devising innovative approaches to problems encountered to provide solutions to the customer.
Perform data quality analysis at various stages of data exchange to ensure data integrity and no loss of info.
Documentation and understand all integration points with external systems.

Skills & QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering with min 8 years' experience Application Support or equivalent IT / EPC function.

General understanding of the information lifecycle of project data – how information is exchanged between functions/disciplines and ownership of data transitions throughout the life of a project.

Experience of creating Powershell and SQL advance level queries in Oracle/SQL Servers.
Knowledge of standard office productivity tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
Understanding of Data exchanges and integration. Ability to troubleshoot dataflow issues within applications.

Extensive working knowledge of Data Quality Tools knowledge (any market standard), Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).Experience application developing in power apps, Python, and html.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, naturally curious and strong desire to solve problems.

Preferred Skills:
EPC work experience.
Working knowledge of Scoping, Advance Work Packages for CSA and Piping disciplines.
Hands on experience with any data exchange toolsImplement data governance at each step while carrying out data exchange work.
Advance skills in MS Excel.
