Your key responsibilities:

  • You are responsible to provide leadership, functional knowledge and configuration skills to build EY Proprietary applications on top of SAP products.
  • Responsible to deliver in a hybrid systems environment primarily SAP On-Prem products, SAP Cloud Platform and SAP Cloud products.
  • Responsible to deliver in the Agile process as part of a stable team
  • You are also expected to engage with partners and service providers to clarify any open operational or technical questions, reporting to the EY CT SAP Domain product management function.

Skills and attributes for success:

  • Ideally, a Person with 8+ years of experience in SAP having expertise in minimum 3 E2E Implementations, Rollout, Upgrade and Support Projects in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
  • Minimum three E2E Implementation experience is required.

You will also be:

  • A team player with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Constantly updating yourself about new offerings from SAP as well as market conditions
  • A winning personality and the ability to become a trusted advisor to the stakeholders

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Experience in requirements gathering, User Story creation and grooming, blueprint preparation, system configuration, testing, cutover, Go-live and operations.
  • Experience in the below mentioned sub functions is a must.

Project Structure Management:

  • Creation and maintenance of project structures in SAP PS.
  • Defining Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Project Networks.

Project Financial Planning and Management:

  • Project Cost Planning and Budgeting.
  • Financial planning at Bucket and Initiative levels.
  • Cost planning and budget planning/forecasting at the item level.
  • Project Scheduling and Resource Planning:
  • Developing and managing project schedules.
  • Allocating and planning project resources effectively.

Project Progress Monitoring:

  • Tracking project progress against planned dates and milestones.
  • Analyzing and reporting on project actuals.

Project Procurement:

  • Managing projectrelated procurement activities.
  • Creating and tracking Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipts (GR), etc.

Claim Management:

  • Handling projectrelated claims and disputes.
  • Ensuring timely resolution and documentation.

Period End Closing:

  • Executing periodend activities for projects.
  • Ensuring accurate financial closure of project phases.

Project Closure and Archiving:

  • Facilitating the smooth closure of projects.

  • Archiving projectrelated data as per organizational guidelines.

Portfolio and Initiative Management:

  • Creating and maintaining portfolio structures.
  • Defining initiatives under portfolio buckets.
  • Financial planning at the initiative level.

Proposal and Item Management:

  • Creating proposals/items for initiatives.
  • Managing KPIs and cost forecasts at the proposal level.
  • Updating questionnaires and scoring models.

Workflow and Approval Management:

  • Configuring workflow processes for proposal/item approvals.
  • Managing the status of proposals/items throughout their lifecycle.
  • Integration with SAP PPM (Portfolio and Project Management):
  • Creating PS projects and WBS elements from SAP PPM items.
  • Synchronizing PPM items with PS projects for dates, status, etc.
  • Moving budget costs from PPM items to PS projects using CJ30.

Cost Roll-Up and Reporting:

  • Rolling up costs from PPM items to Bucket and Portfolio levels.
  • Generating reports on project financials and performance.

Project Settlement and Closure:

  • Managing project settlements and finalizations.
  • Ensuring proper closure of PS and PPM objects.

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Knowledge of SAP technologies for both On-Prem and Cloud offerings from SAP
  • Understanding of application integration potential across SAP offerings
  • Knowledge of SAP Industry Solutions
  • Education in business management will be helpful
