The purpose of this role is to oversee a team of resource managers responsible for managing supply and demand within a Service Line or specific discipline. The main focus is on executing strategies to meet resourcing requirements for client and functional teams, collaborating with growth, HR, finance, operations, and talent acquisition to staff teams efficiently for excellent client delivery.

Job Title: Sr. Resource Manager Job Description:

Key responsibilities:

  • Establishing resource management practices to oversee business operations (RM)
  • Maintaining awareness of key resource management metrics and their impact on financial performance.
  • Analyzing staffing data proactively, communicating insights on trends, forecasts, and improvement opportunities; offering suggestions for enhancement.
  • Regularly updating skills and profiles for available resources. Experience in managing aging bench resources (bench management).
  • Promoting efficiency and workload balancing.
  • Handling conflict resolution concerning resource needs, placements, allocations, and shifts.
  • Collaborating with Finance and Operations teams for effective bench management and utilization to meet monthly budget forecasts set by SBU heads.
  • Providing guidance to leadership and resources on resource management procedures.
  • Reviewing the opportunity pipeline proactively to anticipate upcoming demand.
  • Participating in PRA/pyramid plans related to resourcing.
  • Working with Service Line and HR business partners to address resource needs/changes for annual Talent Planning.
  • Implementing engagement strategies to maintain an active bench, including managing the bench through Internal Job Rotation processes.
  • Understanding various technologies and skill taxonomies to ensure skill rotation.
