Team and Role OverviewThe purpose of the Customer Delivery Centre (CDC)) in India is to provide business expertise to support an organization's global or domestic implementation by designing new processes, optimizing current ones, managing complex implementation projects, and providing user support and training.

We are seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to work in a customer‐facing role to drive global system implementations


What you will doIn-depth, hands-on involvement directly with customers implementing the systemWork directly with the customer project team implementing the system and assist them in implementing their users' requirementsThe technical consultant will then typically follow up with the users to test the implementation, achieve signoff, and continue to move the system toward go-liveAssist developers in understanding the API required to extend the system, add data to the system, and build interfaces between our and external systemsTrain users and customer developers on the basic use of the system, particularly with the technical setupSystem installation, including Java JRE download and installation, relational database installation, data model installation and upgrade scripts, setup, and configuration of the event-driven framework, configuration of real-time market data feed, etc.

Work hands-on with the system, configuring it and testing that it meets the customer's technical requirementsWork with the business analysts, core development, or customer development to code prototypes of enhancements to ensure they will meet business requirementsWhat We ExpectExperience working in systems or technical analysis, preferably in the capital markets industry with software including Java, Springboot, containerization skills, Spring, Swing, JDBC, RMI, J2EE, Linux, Oracle, Postgres, XML, Python, CI/CD toolsStrong GUI and server-side development experienceExcellent object-oriented analysis, design & development as well as fix skillsKnowledge of relational databases and SQL including working experience with Postgres and/or OraclePreference for domain experience in developing or implementing software in support of any or all of the following asset classes: credit derivatives, interest rate derivatives, equity derivatives, fixed income, or FXExperience designing/building front-to-back capital markets trading systems will be especially valuableExcellent user documentation & presentation skillsGood social skills.

The person in this role will spend significant amounts of time working closely with customers as well as training them, and patience will be key to successWillingness and ability to travel as requiredRelevant technical experience of 10 to 12 years, preferably in the capital markets domainProactiveness and task ownership skills are a mustCome as You AreNasdaq is an equal opportunity employer.
