Senior Software Engineering Analyst

Position Overview:

Hey there Are you passionate about engineering modern Cloud applications and infrastructure solutions? This is a fantastic chance to work on exciting core platforms and technologies, while being supported with plenty of training and mentorship opportunities.

We're on the lookout for a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead our Cloud Practice within Core Tech Engg & Solutions (CTES). Your mission: accelerate our journey to the Cloud by modernizing existing systems. This requires establishing foundational capabilities, guiding teams on technical architecture, and making smart cloud service choices. You'll need strong hands-on digital experience and proven technology leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Evangelize a Cloud Engineering culture within core platforms.
  • Empower Cloud Engineering teams across core platforms.
  • Develop talent for modern Cloud and DevSecOps practices.
  • Engineer modern Cloud capabilities and enable teams to leverage them.
  • Create a CTES Cloud roadmap and track progress.
  • Coach CTES scrum teams on their Cloud and DevSecOps journey.
  • Analyze current core claim adjudication platforms and identify bottlenecks.
  • Lead architecture and design of claim modernization.
  • Manage claim platform data and migration planning.
  • Oversee claim platform performance and scalability.
  • Provide innovative solutions for modern cloud architectures.

  • Strong skills in Angular, Node Js, mongodb, and Postgres DB.
  • Experience with agile methodology and SCRUM team leadership.

  • Technical acumen on cloud / on-prem DevSecOps technologies.
  • Passion for building Cloud and DevSecOps solutions.
  • Empathetic technical leadership.
  • Curiosity for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative mindset for solution integrity.
  • Product management skills.

Experience & Education:

  • Experience in architecture and development of enterprise applications.
  • Degree in related technical / business field or equivalent experience.
  • Healthcare domain experience, particularly in claim adjudication.
  • Experience with relational and NOSQL databases.
  • 5+ years in data and digital engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with modern DevSecOps solutions.
  • Willingness to learn and go beyond.
  • Experience with modern and legacy development languages.

Desired Experience:

  • Exposure to AWS.
  • Healthcare experience, including Disease Management.
  • Team coaching experience.
