Job Description:
Help us advance healthcare by creating innovative solutions for healthcare providers and patients. In the healthcare field, there are numerous opportunities and challenges to enhance patient lives through designing solutions for both patients and the healthcare organizations that serve them.
We are in search of a dedicated Senior UI/UX Designer who can assist in exploring and suggesting solutions to intricate system design issues and create the best way to present data to make it meaningful and valuable.
- Responsible for the user experience of embedded, mobile, and desktop software products for our Ultrasound business
- Collaborate with a small design team closely working with relevant business counterparts (clinical/marketing) to create digital experiences
- Lead the design direction by translating user needs and business requirements into workflows, scenarios, information architecture, navigation models, and wireframes
- Create user interface mockups, prototypes, and documentation to aid development teams
- Engage team members in shaping a product vision within a larger domain and advocate for generating new value through compelling arguments and examples
Analysis/Research:
- Understand people, businesses, and societies, focusing on user needs and requirements
- Conduct and lead analysis of user needs, initiate and carry out research for deeper insights
Creation/Validation:
- Apply creative expertise to high complexity projects with a focus on user experiences
- Define product roles within a larger ecosystem, establish design principles, guide teams, and create user-focused strategies, innovations, solutions, and experiences
- Create information architectures, workflows, functional designs, and apply usability principles
Process/Delivery:
- Ensure design quality within project parameters, independently lead larger projects, and influence the environment towards success
- Lead multi-disciplinary project teams
Stakeholder Focus:
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, communicate design decisions clearly
Team:
- Contribute to effective teamwork, be proactive, offer viewpoints, and drive collaboration between different disciplines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in graphic, interaction design, or new media design
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in interaction design (embedded, mobile, desktop software devices)
- Experience in managing junior designers, leading design teams, and complex stakeholder environments
