We are looking for an energetic, intelligent, and driven Test Engineer to join our fast-growing engineering team. You will be working on Charles River IMS for trading and reconciliation module.

Although based in Pune, India, it is not unusual for a team to be composed of members from across the globe.

The team adheres to the Scrum/Agile framework.


The Test Engineer role will provide you a unique opportunity to work on an impressive technology landscape, involving many of the most popular tools and platforms of today.


As a part of role, your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate within and across the teams to design and develop a fit for purpose solution
  • Define a goal behind a set of tests and build a conclusive test strategy to reach that goal
  • Plan and execute effective test scenarios as per the acceptance criteria in userstories
  • Design effective test automation scripts
  • Develop documentation/presentation to share the analysis/test results
  • Participate in daily standups and refinement sessions, contribute constructively into the discussion, provide expert opinion and valuable inputs
  • Stay updated on the latest communications happening in company/team channels
  • Continuously educate yourself on the latest technologies, patterns, and practices
  • Coordinate with other managers (Project Manager, Development Manager, etc) to ensure the highest level of software quality

Your skills and experience
The position mandate is to work with Premium Discretionary Management technical team in India-Pune of the IWM Division.

Alongside the digital delivery core scope this role has a mandate to partner closely with other teams to create and, where possible leverage, new methodologies, and technologies.

A challenging role as a tester working in a highly Agile environment with team spread across India and Switzerland, Interactions with SMEs, Product Owners daily.

To excel in this role, you should possess below:

  • 8+ years of proven experience in software testing (Manual and Automation) is essential
  • Thorough knowledge of Software Testing fundamentals and processes.
  • Experience of using Confluence, Jira and ALM / QC
  • Strong expertise with at least one test automation tool/framework (UFT / Selenium)
  • Outstanding expertise in documenting testresults/observations in meaningful and selfexplanatory way for both technical/nontechnical stakeholders
  • Exposure of working in an Agile development environment
  • Experience working with at least one Relational Database (MSSQL/Oracle/MySQL)
