The Opportunity:
This position is responsible for architecting and leading the technical roadmap and of a cloud-based platform offering SaaS solutions.

The candidate must have minimum 14 years of experience in architecting, designing and implementing large multitenant SaaS solutions (minimum – 5 years on AWS), responsible for architecting, designing, troubleshooting and improving the systems that keep the backend infrastructure running smoothly.

The role requires you to have hands-on technical experience and a can-do approach towards environment automation / management and continuous improvement.

The role will encompass the use of a broad range of AWS technologies, DevOps, operating systems (Windows, Linux) and application environments (SQL Server, nginx, Cassandra, AWS Fargate, Elastic search, AWS Dynamo DB, Node JS, Lambda, Docker etc.), with an emphasis on the implementation of best practice cloud security principles.

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are essential. Some international travel may be required from time to time.

Role & Responsibilities:
Define technical roadmap for SaaS based solution running on AWS platformLeading architecture improvements, recommending process improvementsBuild foundational components and services to be used across various cloud-based servicesSystem troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domainsImplement data strategy for data management and miningEvaluate new technology options and vendor productsEnsuring critical system security using best in class cloud security solutions

Total Experience 14+ years (

AWS:
5+ years' experience with using a broad range of AWS technologies (e.g. EC2, RDS, API Gateway, Cassandra, Elastic Search, Serverless, DynamoDB, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch) to develop and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solutionChef (directly or via AWS OpsWorks), Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Salt or similar toolsStrong working experience in one / more of the languages - , Angular and PythonDevOps: Jenkins, Supervisor, Ansible, Openshift, Tectonic, DataDog, NewRelic, Codeship, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker,JFrog, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeStar, Elastic BeanStalk etc

Problem Solving:
Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues

DB Skills:
Basic DB administration experience (Cassandra, SQL Server)

Agile Methodologies:
Experience with Agile software development, project management methodologies

Version Control:
Experience administrating version control systems such as git and github workflows

Networking:
Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP)Professional commitment to high quality, and a passion for learning new skillsDetail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn new concepts and technologiesStrong problem-solving skills, including providing simple solutions to complex situationsMust be a strong team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a geographically disperse working environmentAWS certification and hand-on experience to Blue-Green deployment paradigm is a plus

Educational Requirements:
B.Tech in Computer Science/Electronics or other equivalent technical discipline from a reputed Institute
