Role Description:

The Lead Business Growth & Product Analyst is tasked with planning, designing, crafting, and launching effective business, financial, and operational systems to support core organizational functions and processes. Your main duty will be to assess user behavior, spot opportunities, and implement strategies to boost user acquisition, activation, retention, and engagement. You will collaborate closely with various teams, like product managers, marketing experts, and data engineers, to achieve our growth goals. This involves gathering, evaluating, and presenting data to support business cases, proposed projects, and system requirements. The Lead Business Analyst is also responsible for developing and compiling reports based on their discoveries, along with suggesting possible causes and viable solutions to system issues. This individual will utilize their communication, analytical, and problems-solving skills to maximize the benefits of IT and analytics system investments.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning for Business Analysis:

• Confer with key decision-makers, system owners, and end users to outline business, financial, and operational requirements, business goals, and pinpoint and resolve problems or issues.
• Lead the analysis for product/content experimentation, business data review sessions, or the analysis of prototyping new systems to enhance business processes, operations, and data flow. Review and assess the efficiency of current systems and devise strategies to enhance or further leverage these systems.
• Establish and outline the scope and data requirements of systems analysis to define outcome criteria and evaluate next steps.
• Operational Management for Business Analytics:
• Create and deliver reports, financial models, business operating plans, suggestions, or alternatives that tackle existing and potential problems in operating systems across the organization.
• Draft system design proposals.
• Conduct cost-benefit and return on investment evaluations for proposed systems to aid management in decision-making.
• Ensure the compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.
• Develop system models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to guide system programmers.
• Coordinate and conduct thorough tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, as well as provide post-implementation support.
• Offer orientation and training to end users for all new and modified systems. Provide guidance and training to junior team members and other colleagues from cross-functional teams.

Product Growth & Analysis

Perform comprehensive Product data analysis:

• Analyze user behavior, conversion funnels, and retention patterns to uncover growth prospects.
• Monitor A/B testing and experiments to gauge the impact of changes and initiatives.
• Utilize analytical tools and techniques to draw valuable insights from large datasets.

Develop and execute growth models:

• Devise and implement user acquisition and retention models to fuel both organic and paid growth.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize campaigns and enhance conversion rates.
• Spot product enhancement possibilities based on user feedback and data analysis.

Monitor and report key performance metrics:

• Keep track of and report on crucial growth metrics like user acquisition, conversion rates, engagement, and revenue.
• Implement a live dashboard for both internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams:

• Work closely with business, product, and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with external partners to ensure the accuracy and usability of data.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices:

• Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging growth strategies, with a strong emphasis on AI.
• Stay informed about new tools, methodologies, and advancements in growth analytics.

• Data as a new business

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Possess 4-6 years of proven experience in roles like Management Consultant, Growth Analyst, business analyst, product analyst, or Growth Marketer within the Android app industry.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis, A/B testing, and presenting data to leadership.
• Be proficient in MS Office Suites (Excel & PPT), SQL, Python, and have experience working with extensive datasets.
• Have proficiency in utilizing analytics tools like Power BI, Google Analytics, Moengage/Clevertap, Firebase, and other similar platforms.
• Have hands-on experience with Databricks and the Azure platform (a plus).
• Possess knowledge of business analytics and reporting, mobile app analytics, attribution, and user tracking methodologies.
• Have experience with growth hacking strategies and tools to drive user acquisition and retention.
• Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
• Be familiar with the Android ecosystem, app stores, and mobile app development (a plus).
• Have a passion for mobile technologies, apps, and staying up-to-date on industry trends.
