Job Summary:
The Freshservice Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the Freshservice platform.

This role involves customizing Freshservice to meet business requirements, integrating it with other systems, and ensuring the platform operates smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Development and Customization:
Develop custom applications, scripts, and workflows within the Freshservice platform.
Customize Freshservice to align with business needs, including modifying forms, fields, and workflows.
Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards in Freshservice.

Integration:
Integrate Freshservice with other business systems and third-party applications.
Develop and maintain API connections and data synchronization between Freshservice and other platforms.

Support and Maintenance:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Freshservice-related issues.
Perform regular maintenance and updates to the Freshservice platform to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor system performance and implement enhancements as needed.

Collaboration:
Work closely with IT and business teams to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet organizational needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure Freshservice configurations support business processes effectively.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Documentation:
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for customizations, integrations, and configurations.
Develop user guides and training materials to assist end-users in utilizing Freshservice effectively.

Compliance and Best Practices:
Ensure all developments and customizations comply with IT and data security standards.
Stay updated with the latest Freshservice features and best practices to continually improve the platform.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:
Proven experience as a Freshservice Developer or in a similar role involving IT service management (ITSM) platforms.
Strong background in scripting languages such as Java Script, Python, or Ruby.
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration.

Skills:
Proficiency in developing and customizing within the Freshservice platform.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices is a plus.
