Role Definition:

Researching, designing, developing, configuring, integrating, testing, and maintaining both existing and new business applications and information systems solutions, including databases, by aligning technical and business requirements. Involves applications and infrastructure solutions that encompass third-party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure. Responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, coding modifications or new programs, drafting documentation, testing and maintaining applications, infrastructure, and information systems, including managing database systems. Works within the Information Technology domain, securing resources, and collaborating to support objectives and strategies. Delivers necessary documentation and engages in architecture reviews to ensure compliance with standards and the utilization of approved technologies. Primary customers are company end users and various functional areas like Supply Chain, Research and Development, Marketing, Finance, and other business sectors.

Expertise Level Description:

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to resolve intricate business challenges and is recognized as a subject matter authority. Regularly contributes to the introduction of fresh ideas and methodologies. Deals with complex problems that demand a comprehensive evaluation of various factors based on situation analysis or data examination. Leads and/or offers expertise to functional project teams and might engage in cross-functional ventures. Functions as an authority, offering direction and guidance for process enhancements and policy establishment. Often serves as the face of the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly specified policies and practices to identify the most effective approach to completing tasks and meeting goals. May offer mentorship and guidance to lower-level staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in and lead development teams. Analyze complex functional and business requirements. Create code stubs for team members. Develop solutions through coding. Design solutions for team implementation. Engage in cross-functional teams. Lead design operations and provide mentoring and guidance to other developers. Design, prepare, and conduct Unit tests. Represent the team to clients/customers.
• Show technical leadership and exert influence beyond the immediate team. Devise innovative team strategies for solving complex issues. Contribute to setting strategic direction for teams.
• Apply comprehensive technical knowledge to address maintenance requirements across one or more technology domains (e.g., Database Administration).
• Undertake solution design, leveraging company and third-party technologies to lead the design of highly intricate infrastructure and software solutions.
• Independently deploy end-user or enterprise infrastructure or services of notable complexity.
• Fuse technical expertise with business acumen to craft superior solutions for the company and customers. Mentor and consult with team members, other organizations, customers, and vendors on complex matters.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Typically holds a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 10 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Extensive experience across numerous full release cycles.
• Advanced comprehension of contemporary software development methodologies.
• Proficient in modern software development tools and Software Configuration Management (SCM).
• Skilled in Software Testing methodologies and an expert in testing tools. Proficient in Database Administration.
• General Project Management. Customer/Vendor Management. Business Analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities; adept at influencing and working efficiently within a geographically dispersed team. Demonstrated technical leadership expertise.
• 10+ years of SAP ECC (or) S4HANA supply chain management experience with expertise in Availability check, Manufacturing, and Logistics Execution.
• Extensive experience with 5+ full-cycle Implementations in Manufacturing and Logistics Execution modules.
• Sound knowledge/experience in Logistics, Shipping, Built to Order (BTO), and Configure to Order (CTO) highly appreciated.
• Engagement with business partners to grasp current processes and work on transforming these into future processes.
• Develop and maintain SAP integrations with internal and external applications, such as Salesforce, GTS, EDI, and Shipping providers.
• Conduct detailed analysis of intricate business processes, document requirements, define solutions, implement, test, and support SAP MM, LE-WM/SHP modules.
• Robust understanding of integration with MM, SD, PP, QM, FICO, and other modules.
• Provide guidance to the business on SAP best practices and standard offerings.
• Guide the Master Data team in completing data mapping and transformation workshops.
• Extensive experience in diverse Supply Chain Management Processes (Quotations, Sales from Stock, Make to Order, Third-party processes, Intercompany sales, Rush orders, Consignment, Delivery, etc.)
• Proficiency in Planning, Automatic Leg Determination, Shipment Stages, Shipment Cost Processing.
• Decent familiarity with ARIBA, GTS, GATP.
• Strong understanding and configuration experience in Outbound Delivery Processing, Goods Issue, Printing/Communication in Shipping (Forms, Integration with 3PL), Route Schedules.
