About the teamDialpad's Data Team brings together business expertise and advanced analytics skills to enable business teams to identify improvement opportunities that translate into new opportunities and results.
The Data team will architect and craft the data platform to empower and implement data applications, including data ingestion framework, Data Observability, Data Quality, Anomaly detection, Data Lake/Data warehouse, business intelligence, APIs and reporting systems.
The team will improve data platform performance and reliability, and opportunities to collaborate with industry standard innovative technology partners and authorities to improve efficiency through automation.
Data team is responsible for ingesting data from various sources and producing critical data insights from data to help with decision making and reporting for Finance, Product, Marketing, Growth, etc.
Your roleAs a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions.
You will work closely with various teams in organization to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvements.You will work with teams located in India, USA, Argentina, and/or Canada.
The Data Analyst will be based in India and responsible for creating Data Visualization dashboards, writing complex SQL queries and converting metrics into usable insights.
The Data Analyst will work closely with Data Engineers, Business Analyst, Engineering manager, and Data Scientists.This hands-on role focuses on implementing data platform vision, planning and carrying out the roadmap to enable platform capabilities.
This position reports to our Sr.
Manager Data Engineering, with day-to-day direction and guidance on projects given by the local team lead, and will be based in our Bangalore, India Office.
The requirements for this role is to be in office at least 2 days a week.
This is a contract position for one year with high potential to be hired full time after one yearWhat you'll doCollect, clean and preprocess data from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity.
Prepare reports and presentations summarizing key findings and recommendations.
Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to drive meaningful insights and recommendations.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and visualizations to effectively communicate key findings to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data driven Solutions.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization through data analysis.
Responsible for data validations, impact analysis.
Work with a team in the USA, Argentina and coordinate project activities and tasks and manage dependencies.
Skills you'll bring5+ years of relevant technology industry experience.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/ Engineering/ Business Administration or directly related experience.
Proven experience working with Data Engineers, Business Analyst, Team Lead, with demonstrated success collaborating with Off-shore team and delivering complex projects on time.
Strong experience in building dashboards and visualizationsStrong experience in tools like Domo, Looker, or Tableau, PowerBIStrong Expertise in SQL, PythonStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively analyze and interpret business data and process.
Experience with Project management methodologies and project management tools(Jira/wiki, etc.)Experience with data platforms, data pipelines, finance datasets.Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques such as requirement elicitation, process modeling, and stakeholder management.
