The Solution Executive will maximize profitable company sales revenue by identifying, qualifying, negotiating, and closing new business with new and existing clients.

This position is primarily selling Sphera's software solutions.

This role will be the personification of Sphera in all matters within and outside the company with an unflagging commitment to customer satisfaction, delight, trust, and loyalty.

We are seeking a motivated person who is eager to get involved.

In this role, you will gain complete experience in all aspects of corporate accounting, including:

Propose, document and implement new accounting processes and internal control proceduresResearch, configure and test functionality in our ERP and workflow systemsProvide general accounting support to the management team and assist with ad hoc projectsAssist with treasury functions


You'll start as a part of the EMEA accounting team, but our intension is that after a period of training, that you'll lead country specific statutory accounts, audit, and tax reporting requirements for one or several of our entities.

Month End Close and General LedgerResponsible for various month-end close processes, including:
  • reconciliations of cash
  • review variances between actual and budget
  • calculate and post accrued expense entries
  • overview prepaid expenses entriesCompile support for our annual financial statement audit and respond to related ad hoc requests for supportAssist with international tax filings (VAT, GST, etc.), and work with an external, third
  • party sales and use tax service to ensure Sphera's ongoing compliance
Accounts Receivable / PayableReceive, record and review vendor bills to ensure- proper expense coding- proper amortization- timely approval by related internal managers

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, CA/CMA certificate requiredORACLE experience required, NetSuite experience preferredPractical experience with international tax recordings, specifically in VAT regimes (European standard)Practical knowledge of GST and TDS (India standard)At least 5 years of work experienceSound understanding of accounting principlesA desire to influence the direction of the accounting group through process documentation and improvementA high level of attention to detail, and strong organizational skillsThe ability to take ownership of issues across the accounting spectrum and see them through to completionFluent in English, language skills in German is a plus
