Suitable candidate must have a team development focus and prior hands-on experience with multiple aspects of Data Management delivery of applications. Leads developers and testers in across multiple projects and team in the development central data solutions such as Data Lakehouse, Operational Data Store, Data Hubs, Data Marts, and Analytics to meet business needs. Provide oversight and management of multiple applications development efforts simultaneously across a multiple stakeholders and product owners. Supervises and Manages a mixture of both developers and Level1 production support staff Liaison with several Chicago-based teams on projects, strategic data architecture goals, data requirements, and troubleshooting Develops periodic goals, organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities, and ensures timely and accuratepletion of the work by employees and outside technology contractors. Work with management on setting strategic priorities and direction for the India teams. Think outside the box capabilities. Thoroughly understands decision process issues of technology choice, such as capacities, response time, data interfacing, client servermunication, industry standard technologies and new industry trends, etc. Provide guidance and direction to teams on technologies and the right way of doing things, code quality, coaching on interactions with stakeholders. Engages in high level break/fix support during disaster recovery scenarios and assists with Production issues when higher level analysis is required. Works closely with architects and other enterprise stakeholders to ensure solution alignment with best enterprise practices. Responsible for the performance management of the staff reporting to self. Responsible for maximising the effectiveness by building strong team/technicalpetencies. Help recruit, develop and mentor high performing and diverse teams across various workgroups. Promote teamwork in problem resolution. Foster an environment of open discussion, Ensures adherence to organizational policies, guidelines and processes Skills/ Experience Demonstrated leadership and cross functional collaboration experience Excellentmunication skills Strong organizational and facilitation skills Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise tasks Ability to attract and retain top talent Expertise in designing lakehouse/ data solutions on Azure/ Snowflake Requires an extensive knowledge of application development and support processes, usually having experience with multiple system technologies. Strong domain knowledge and experience working with a wide range of Financial Services / Wealth Management technology platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong knowledge of applying agile methodologies (Kanban, Iterative Waterfall, hybrid-Agile) and experience handling teams with different maturity of agile practices. Excellent consultative andmunication skills, and the ability to work effectively with client, partner, and IT management and staff. Minimum 15 years of overall experience, with at least 7 years in supervising/managing teams Rmended Skills Experience with emerging trends in technology such as Public/Private Cloud Technologies as it relates to Data Management, PII management, Financial Services Regulations. Technical experience with various Data Product development tools, utilities, and frameworks such as Azure Delta Lake/ Synapse, Snowflake, Databrick, IBM DataStage, Informatica, Oracle PL/SQL, and Master Data concepts. Additional application development utilizes Java Spring Frameworks, server-side JavaScript, and NoSQL data utilities Interpret business requirement and functional requirements to assist developers and/or testers in their job duties Ability to guide and direct resources performingplex data analysis across two or more separate databases. Provide guidance on giving presentation of summary of analysis. Project effort planning and resource levelling to guide best allocation of team technical skills across multiple projects Ability to read data models and explain data Entity-Relationships to ETL developers, python and java developers.
