To discharge the duties properly, the position carries out Security in Plant, Mines & Distance Conveyor (LDC) areas.

Responsibility includes Access control, Traffic & material movement control, mob and unruly crowd management, Intelligence gathering, Theft & Pilferage prevention, its detection and investigation.

• Responsible for Planning & Deployment of Security Guards in Plant & Mines.
• Deploy effective security personnel to control movement of men & materials, ingress & egress of vehicles, checking & frisking of employees, workers, labours, visitors to avoid unauthorized entry. Restrict entry of alcoholics & miscreants into plant.
• Enforce security checks, Identify and nab potential elements involved in theft / pilferage Deployment of guards at various duty posts to protect & safeguard plants properties ,machinery etc.
• To collect intelligence information through overt & covert method and communicate to management for timely action. Facilitate to take proactive action on the basis of intelligence gathered.
• Prepare in advance for emergency situations based on intelligence gathered, Strategic deployment of effective security force to combat emergency / untoward situations.
• Control speedy movement of vehicles inside plant to avoid road accident, Enforce strict control of vehicle movement inside plant site, Ensure 100% usage of PPEs by employees/labours
• Maintain cordial relation with local police & law and order machinery for getting timely support. Liaise with local police to enforce law and order in time of commotion and critical situations

Essential Qualification:

Graduate in any Stream, Professional Experience - preferred are Retired incumbents from Indian Army with Captain/Major and equivalent rank/ Inspector in SSB/Assistant Commandant in CRPF.
