Job Overview:

  • TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met.
  • Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and sixsigma tools and analyses.
  • They reviews, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
  • The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.

Role Objective:
Candidate will be in Quality assurance
  • Process Quality
function for Shirwal Plant which includes:

  • Process Quality
  • Customer support
  • NPD Responsible for Process controls and rejection analysis.
  • Responsible for Handling Customer Complaints and customer Audits (PPAP, Process audits)
  • Responsible for achieving targeted COPQ for Header & Sensor assembly section.
  • Responsible for driving Process improvements through 6 sigma and Various tools.
  • Should be having Basic Knowledge of quality tools, Assembly technics.
  • Responsible for Process and product audits.
  • Responsible for completing SPC , MSA and layout plans

Education and Qualification:

  • BE/ B.Tech/M tech (Electrical, Mechanical)

Critical Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in automotive component manufacturing Industry inprocess quality for automatic & semiautomatic assembly.
  • Knowledge of Plastic Molding, Stamping , plating & Metrology will be added advantage.
  • Knowledge and technical understanding of automotive processes, components, and manufacturing techniques
  • Knowledge of Quality Tools , VDA 6.3 , IATF
