Psychiatry Chart Prep

Job Description

We're looking for candidates experienced with chart prepping, specifically in psychiatry to foster and maintain relationships with Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) and ensure efficient administrative processes within the clinical setting. The role requires strategic thinking, sensitivity to facility needs, and excellent communication and organizational skills. Additionally, the Clinical Administrative Support will assist in chart review and preparation, medication identification, scheduling coordination, and other clinical support duties.

Skills:

• Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of electronic health records.
  
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
  

Clinical duties:

• Obtain behavioral reports or clinical information before patient appointments.
  
• Ensure scheduling coordination with liaisons, clinical staff, and facilities.
  
• Assist Nurse liaisons and medical assistants with scheduling and organizational tasks.
  
• Collaborate with facility personnel on referrals and patient information gathering while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
  
• Conduct chart review and preparation in the internal EMR.
  

Other responsibilities:

• Think strategically to achieve company growth goals.
  
• Provide support to clinicians with issues and referrals.
  
• Maintain electronic calendars and share planned visits with relevant stakeholders.
  
• Provide daily summaries of building visits, including feedback receive\

• Experience with reviewing medical charts.
  
• Knowledge psychotropic medication/basic medical information is a plus.
