About this role:

Wells Fargo is looking for a Commercial Banking Portfolio Coordinator.

In this role, you will:

Responsibilities include:

  • Review credit information of loans for companies and industries
  • Respond to customer inquiries, generate status reports for management or bankers and contact available sources of information
  • Review financial documents and loan agreements to determine if all required or eligible alternative documents are available to complete the annual review
  • Understand various financial documents including company prepared financial statements, and U.S tax returns
  • Review covenants and identify required documents for underwriting work
  • Deliver quality work product within agreed upon timelines
  • Perform credit investigations on companies and industries
  • Receive direction from Commercial Banking Portfolio Management supervisor and escalate noncompliant issues
  • Ensure credit files are current
  • Work with BLAST and ICMP applications
  • Knowledge of investor and owner occupied real estate transactions
  • Interact with the team and Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area
  • Implement feedback received into daily work
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of financial analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Desired Qualifications:

• A B. Com or equivalent degree, preferably an MBA
• 2+ years' commercial credit experience across diversified asset classes
• Good knowledge of financial statements for various industries
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ownership of work and ability to make judgment calls
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High personal motivation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Intermediate to advanced excel skills
