Job Description:

We are looking for a proficient CAE Mechanical Engineer specialized in implicit dynamics to be part of our Automotive Engineering team.

The perfect candidate should have a solid background in mechanical engineering, focusing on computational analysis and simulations in the automotive sector.

This role demands expertise in at least one implicit dynamics software like ANSYS or ABAQUS, along with a deep comprehension of the challenges and technical needs specific to automotive engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct complex implicit dynamics simulations to assess automotive components and systems using CAE tools such as ANSYS or ABAQUS.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to enhance and optimize new product designs for performance, safety, and manufacturability.
  • Analyze simulation results and offer actionable insights and recommendations to enhance product designs and performance.
  • Validate model predictions through coordinating testing procedures and analyzing test data.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and advancements in CAE tools and methodologies.
  • Document all simulation processes and outcomes, ensuring high transparency and repeatability levels.
  • Contribute to mentoring and nurturing junior engineers and technical personnel.

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of relevant CAE experience in the automotive sector.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following CAE software tools: ANSYS, ABAQUS, or similar implicit dynamics simulation tools.
  • Solid grasp of mechanical principles and vehicle dynamics.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the aptitude to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining intricate technical details to non-specialists.
  • Proactive and inventive with a dedication to continuous enhancement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in multi-body dynamics simulation and advanced materials modeling.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and certification processes pertinent to automotive engineering.
