Role: Back End Developer – MERN Stack

Location: Thane (Mumbai), this is an on-site opportunity.

Qualification: Bachelores or equivalent degree in IT or Computer Science.

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Back End Developer proficient in the MERN (MongoDB, , , ) stack and DevOps practices to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in back-end development, with a strong focus on building scalable web applications and implementing DevOps processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Back End Development:

a. Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable back-end systems using the MERN stack.

b. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

c. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.

2. Database Management:

a. Design and manage databases using MongoDB, ensuring data consistency, security, and optimal performance.

b. Develop and optimize database queries, schemas, and indexing strategies.

3. API Development:

a. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end functionalities and third-party integrations.

b. Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and well-documented for seamless integration.

4. DevOps Implementation:

a. Implement and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing and deployment.

b. Monitor and maintain server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

c. Perform regular system updates, backups, and performance tuning.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

a. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality products.

b. Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and collaborative planning sessions.

c. Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers when needed.

6. Troubleshooting and Debugging:

a. Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.

b. Perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions to prevent future occurrences.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in back-end development with a strong focus on the MERN stack.
  • Proficiency in and for building server-side applications.
  • Solid understanding of MongoDB, including data modeling, query optimization, and indexing.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure management.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies ) to facilitate better integration with back-end systems.
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures and microservices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
