Job Title: Android Developer

Role Summary: We are seeking an Android developer to collaborate with our team of skilled engineers in crafting the next generation of mobile applications.

As a developer, your role involves conceptualizing and enhancing the app to meet users' evolving needs, with a focus on ensuring a seamless user experience.

You will closely work with other app development and technical teams.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement modules for Android applications
  • Create object-oriented models and design data structures for Android projects
  • Collaborate with teams to introduce new features
  • Take ownership of complex projects
  • Ensure app robustness and performance
  • Identify and fix bugs
  • Explore and implement new technologies
  • Design reusable components
  • Translate designs into quality code
  • Mentor team members
  • Collaborate with Product Manager on project execution
  • Programming in Java, Kotlin, or C++
  • Knowledge of databases and APIs integration
  • Optimize application performance
  • Experience with Bluetooth low energy is a plus

Key Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and XML
  • Experience with location-based applications
  • Published apps on Google Playstore
  • Knowledge of versioning tools like Git
  • Familiarity with Bluetooth services

Qualifications:

  • B.Tech. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 1-2 years of Java/Kotlin experience
  • Strong coding skills and Android SDK knowledge
  • Experience in UI development and application optimization
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and UI design principles
  • Knowledge of offline storage and threading
  • Design apps for natural user interfaces
  • Worked on minimum 2 apps on Google Playstore
  • Familiar with 3rd party Android libraries

Nice to have:

  • Android Development experience on AOSP
  • Experience with AOSP Architecture and BLE technology
  • Proficiency in most of Android Jetpack
  • Understanding of benchmarking and performance tuning
