Under moderate management, this position involves developing, testing, debugging, and implementing moderately complex operating systems components, software tools, and utilities necessary for the operation of computer systems. Responsibilities also include making modifications to existing software to meet specialized needs, maintaining programmed libraries, technical documentation, and assisting in planning, scheduling, and implementation.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Senior Product Software Engineer for the Wolters Kluwer Teammate team, responsible for building sustainable and scalable business-critical applications that operate around the clock. Activities include writing concise code, participating in planning sessions, code reviews, providing top-tier customer support, ensuring exceptional service, documentation upkeep, mastering all Teammate products, technologies, code structure, and organizational processes, and representing Wolters Kluwer in the industry.

You will be reporting to the Associate Director, Product Software Engineering.

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in developing N-tiered systems in a .NET/SQL environment using C#.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming, design patterns, developing Windows applications with Excel integration, using .NET Collections, LINQ, Entity Framework, NHibernate, writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning, familiarity with design patterns, OOD/OOP practices, writing unit and integration tests, teamwork, and a strong passion for software development.
  • Expertise in web development, including ASP.NET MVC, Razor.
