As an Analyst - Business, you will collaborate with internal organization partners to analyze critical business challenges, gather detailed project requirements, and document functional requirements and process flows. You will work with a diverse ecommerce team to ensure suitable solutions are developed, tested, and delivered to meet stakeholder expectations. Your role also involves comprehending and reporting on the impact of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers and user experience analysts to conduct requirements sessions or interviews with customers, business partners, and cross-functional team members to support a business case.
  • Develop user stories, activity diagrams, and other detailed requirements documents based on project requirements, as well as plans for delivery and impact measurement.
  • Partner with technical counterparts in information technology and development resources to validate business requirements and project specifications.
  • Work with user experience analysts, teammates, and development teams to create high-fidelity prototypes, research, and functionality demos.
  • Present functional requirements to development, UX, quality assurance, and technical architecture teams, and act as a representative for stakeholders during agile iterations.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance analysts to establish test plans and execute test scenarios for requirements validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and system testing.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced analysts.

Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree is a must.
  • 3 years of digital or related field experience required, with 5 years preferred, particularly in B2B.
  • 3 years of business analysis experience in a software or systems role required, with 5 years preferred.
  • 1 year of product ownership, management, or similar product lifecycle experience required, with 5 years preferred.
  • 1 year of global, localization, and multi-language/multi-currency platform experience required, with 5 years preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in digital channels, including web, mobile, apps, and social media required, with experience in scanning and mobility solutions being a plus.
  • 1 year of experience driving requirements with UX, CX, and Analytics teams required, with 3 years preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Product Management or Product Owner methodologies, practices, and Product Lifecycle is key.
  • Ability to create current state analysis, process maps and flows, business requirements documents (BRDs), functional requirements documents (FRDs), User Stories/Epics/Features, test cases, use cases, and requirements related to data, interface, usability, security, and other disciplines.
  • Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to capture requirements, customer feedback, information gathering sessions, and meeting notes effectively.
  • Deep understanding of UX principles and best practices, specifically in translating business requirements into user interfaces, customer validation, and feedback.
  • Ability to collaborate harmoniously with a cross-functional team to create exceptional experiences.
  • Proficiency in assisting with high-level project documentation such as scope, overview, and charter documents.
  • Development and implementation of change management plans to drive improvements.
  • Capability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
