The Oracle A-Team is part of Oracle's Product Development organization, comprised of architects, software engineers, and technical solution architects, solving tough technical problems that deliver significant business impact.

One of our charters is to create systems that improve the operations of Oracle SaaS. Utilizing advanced technology stacks, data analytics, and machine learning, our team develops innovative solutions that deliver crucial business insights to Oracle's operations, release management, and DevOps teams. We are seeking a Program Manager with a proven track record of excellence and the ability to drive impactful partnerships. In this role, you will :

Understand and translate service requirements within the context of the overall business into actionable and achievable tasks. Collaborate with internal teams to align visions, define objectives, manage risks, and create functional solutions. Lead strategy and design efforts to influence the direction of projects, ensuring their success and alignment with Oracle's strategic goals. Implement plans that lead to tangible, impactful deliverables using agile methodologies. Identify risks proactively and put in place plans to mitigate.

The ideal candidate will :

Possess strong proficiency in shaping strategy and solution design. Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills. Have considerable prior experience in managing agile projects. Have worked with globally distributed and remote team members. Exhibit advanced cross-organizational and project management skills. Thrive in a highly innovative, fast-paced, evolving, and ambiguous environment. Demonstrate exceptional decision-making skills, with the ability to balance strategic priorities and manage complex trade-offs.

Job Requirements :

Relationship-building skills : Ability to forge strong connections across organizational boundaries. Project translation : Translate project requirements into manageable chunks of work. Prioritization expertise : Skilled at prioritizing service requirements effectively. Experience : 10+ years in Program Management. Engineering knowledge : Familiar with engineering practices such as Scrum, sprints, Kanban, and DevOps. Tool proficiency: Proficient in Sprint planning, and experienced with tools like Confluence and JIRA Proven accountability : Stellar track record of being accountable and proactive in communication. Process scalability : Experience in building scalable processes across various disciplines and teams. Operational improvement : Demonstrated ability to identify process and operational gaps and take initiative to address them. Communication skills : Proficient in both horizontal and vertical communication within large organizations. Communication proficiency : Excellent at summarizing and detailing information clearly. Adaptability : Capable of adapting existing processes to meet evolving business needs in a frequently changing organization. Change management : Comfortable with change, able to maintain focus on overarching goals amidst chaos. Proficiency : JIRA/Confluence/Microsoft Project

The Program Manager's responsibilities include :

Leading and participating in compliance initiatives: Own, drive, and engage in a variety of compliance-related projects across the organization. Ensuring engineering adherence: Clearly understand service requirements and ensure engineering teams adhere to these specifications. Streamlining efforts: Actively reduce non-value-add activities, providing constructive feedback to compliance offices. Solution development: Gather requirements and design solutions that are reliable, high-quality, extensible, and scalable, focusing on both process and technology. Strategic influence: Shape the direction of corporate compliance with a strategic focus on the end customer's needs. Stakeholder communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders through scheduled meetings, reports, updates, and reviews. Analytics and reporting: Develop and manage analytics related to projects, including KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and reports, using data to demonstrate the effectiveness of processes and capabilities.
