Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with students to address their emotional and psychological needs.
  • Assess students for mental health issues and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to student support.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to promote mental health awareness among students, staff, and parents.
  • Create and implement strategies to prevent and address bullying and other socialemotional issues in the school community.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student information and counseling sessions.
  • Stay uptodate with current research and best practices in the field of mental health in education.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience working with children and adolescents in an educational or counseling setting.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological theories and assessment tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish rapport with students, parents, and staff.
  • Empathy and sensitivity towards the needs of diverse student populations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in counseling.

From ₹15,000.00 per month
