Job SummaryWe are looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst with expertise in Network Security, Information Security compliance, control measures, IT infrastructure, and systems administration. As part of the Joint IT Infrastructure team and under the guidance of the IT Manager, the Senior IS Analyst will collaborate closely with both local and global IT/IS teams on various roles and responsibilities.Roles & Responsibilities:Security Monitoring and Incident Response:
  • Continuously monitor network and IT systems for security incidents.
  • Develop response plans to mitigate risks and minimize impact.
  • Manage security tools and technologies like endpoint protection, encryption solutions, and SIEM platforms to enhance security posture.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to update controls and document remediation patterns for compliance with standards.
  • Produce regular reports to improve procedures and controls.
Vulnerability Management:
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities in infrastructure, applications, and systems using tools like Qualys.
  • Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing.
  • Develop and implement plans to remediate vulnerabilities following policy.
Security Policy and Compliance:
  • Evaluate security controls and processes to identify gaps and weaknesses.
  • Design, implement, document, and test security solutions aligning with best practices and policies.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures for compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Monitor adherence to policies and address non-compliance proactively.
Incident Response Planning and Management:
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans and implement responses to security incidents effectively.
  • Coordinate incident response activities across teams to contain and mitigate incidents efficiently.
IT/IS Infrastructure Support:
  • Collaborate to deploy and implement new technologies and provide troubleshooting support.
  • Participate in initiatives to enhance IT infrastructure and services.
  • Conduct Information Security surveys and manage responses to questionnaires from clients.
  • Interact with teams to educate, train, and address questions related to security.
Required Skills & Attributes:
  • Knowledge of network security practices and anti-malware programs.
  • Proficiency in security monitoring tools like SIEM platforms.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and strong risk assessment skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows environments and systems administration.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and ability to mitigate IT risk.
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in IT/CS or equivalent.
  • Have 6-8 years in the IT industry with 2-3 years in Security operations.
  • Possess knowledge of security product solutions, and Information security reviews.
  • Have hands-on experience with security tools and exposure to various systems.
  • Understand ISO and NIST frameworks.
  • Have excellent communication, interaction, and presentation skills.
  • Certifications like CEH, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, or in cyber security are a plus.
