JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Ensure complete responsibility of Capex Accounting for Company including approvals, tracking, movement and monitoring of FA at LS stores, WH and offices.

2. Ensure the Capex Expenditure remains within budgets;

3. Ensure Timely Processing of the Capex Invoices of the Vendors and payment thereof, Follow up with the respective teams for the Various Capex Bills, Ensure to resolve any query regarding Capex Invoices.

4. Ensure the Reconciliation of the Capex Vendors Accounts on Quarterly basis.

5. Ensure the Complete Capitalization and Provisions accounting related to Capex expenditure on Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Basis.

6. Ensure the preparation and maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register and Physical Verification of the Assets at Various LS Locations.

7. Prepare the various MIS and Audit Schedules for the Capex Expenditure

8. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits, providing documentation and explanations related to fixed asset transactions and controls.

9. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in fixed asset accounting processes, and lead initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

10. Supervise and manage a team of fixed asset accountants, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the accurate and timely recording of fixed asset transactions.

11. Perform regular reviews and reconciliations of fixed asset accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise.

12. Prepare and analyze fixed asset-related reports, including depreciation schedules, capital expenditure forecasts, and variance analyses, to support financial planning and decision-making processes.

13. Provide training and development opportunities for team members to ensure continuous improvement and professional growth.

14. Ensure the Tax audit schedules preparation related to the Assets.

15. Knowledge of concepts of Ind AS 16 – Property, plant and equipment and Ind AS 116 – Leases and it's practical implementation will be an added advantage

Desired Qualifications

2+ years of fixed asset accounting experience. Bachelor's degree / CA / MBA/ ICWA . Must be detail oriented.
