Senior Data Scientist (SDE 2 / Senior : 4+ years
We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Data Scientist to join our team.

The Senior Data Scientist will lead the development and implementation of advanced data analytics and machine learning models to solve complex business problems and drive strategic initiatives.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop data-driven solutions, and deliver actionable insights that support business objectives.

What You'll Do :

Data Analysis and Exploration :

  • Utilize advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to analyze large, complex datasets.
  • Identify patterns, trends, and correlations to extract actionable insights.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand data characteristics and relationships.

Model Development and Deployment :

  • Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to address business challenges such as customer segmentation, churn prediction, demand forecasting, etc.
  • Implement scalable and efficient algorithms for realtime and batch processing.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models into production and Evaluation :
  • Design and execute experiments to evaluate model performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop metrics and frameworks for measuring model accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
  • Continuously iterate and refine models based on feedback and new data.
Cross-functional Collaboration :

  • Work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and domain experts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality, accessibility, and reliability.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the data science team.

Communication and Presentation :

  • Communicate findings and insights to both technical and nontechnical audiences through clear and compelling visualizations, reports, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop datadriven strategies and recommendations.
  • Contribute to thought leadership through conference presentations, research publications, and participation in industry forums.
What You Need To Have :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions in a business environment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, and familiarity with libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikitlearn, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and data mining algorithms.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, etc.) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work with large, messy datasets.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, crossfunctional team environment.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Contributions to opensource projects or publications in peerreviewed journals.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with deep learning techniques and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and text analytics.
