Overview of function, team and the role:
The position of Intern:
Infosec Governance, Risk and Compliance is within Information Security Assurance and Compliance.
The mission of the team is to enhance and protect organizational value by providing risk-driven Compliance advise, drive deeper automation to prepare for scale and security assurance, and manage the organization through informed and intelligent decision-making.
Summer Project Assignments and Responsibilities:
- As an Intern, you will be contributing to the continual need for Policy and Compliance, Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) program and Audit initiatives.
- You'll be tasked with helping with a variety of daily business tasks, implementation projects, process improvement projects, and automation projects.
- You'll get hands on exposure to a variety of security technologies and will work with business stakeholders to align determine appropriate controls to reduce business risk
- Participate in UAT for the phase of the project during internship and train business users on analytics platform, reports & dashboards (as applicable)
- Working on current business projects and solutions that will add true value and have a big impact on our business
- Opportunity to network and collaborate with other interns across the globe
- Take part of our summer program with executive speaker series, networking events, shark tank project presentations and much more
Who You Are (Requirements and Qualifications):
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college, in your penultimate year of your bachelor's or master's degree studies (_Graduation between_ December 2023-September 2024)_
- Available to work fulltime for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (_between May to September,_ depending on your school system_)
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively and effectively in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English
- Ability to create accurate and punctual reports, deliver presentations, and share information and ideas with others
- Analytically driven and detailoriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and aptitude to learn new software
- Nice to have but not required:
- Basic understanding of some of the regulatory requirements e.g., ISO frameworks or Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) program
- Additional certifications, or university/college projects (if any) relevant to the role.
