As a Company Secretary Intern at FinQuest Financial Solutions Private Limited, you will gain hands-on experience and exposure in various aspects of corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory affairs. You will work closely with the Company Secretary and support them in ensuring the company's compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining statutory registers, records, and minutes of meetings.
  • Support in drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Assist in organizing board meetings, committee meetings, and general meetings, including preparing agendas, circulation of notices, and coordination of logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with the Companies Act and other applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assist in handling company secretarial matters, including filings with regulatory authorities and maintenance of corporate records.
  • Support in conducting research on legal and regulatory matters and prepare reports or summaries as required.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with changing legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide support on corporate governance and compliance-related initiatives.
  • Participate in training programs and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in corporate secretarial practices.

Requirements

Education: CS

Skills:

  • Basic understanding of corporate governance, company law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and listing requirements, would be a plus.
