Job Title: Process Consultant

Location: India (Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Process Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in assessing and enhancing Agile processes, coupled with a strong background in software engineering. This individual will play a key role in evaluating maturity of the Agile and Engineering practices involving both Ness and Customer teams, identifying areas for improvement, and driving the implementation of best practices across the organization. Create business use cases to drive strategic initiatives and deliver tangible business value.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of Agile processes and practices within the organization, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance Agile maturity, streamline processes, and optimize team performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of Agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and training to teams and stakeholders on Agile principles, practices, and frameworks.
  • Lead initiatives to establish and maintain Agile metrics and performance indicators, tracking progress and driving continuous improvement.
  • Utilize proficiency in metrics analysis for data-driven engineering, leveraging insights to inform decision-making and drive process improvements.
  • Conduct specific Agile trainings and workshops for teams and customers, tailored to their unique needs and objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in Agile development, incorporating new methodologies and techniques as appropriate.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Agile processes, contributing to the development of organizational standards and guidelines.
  • Utilize high proficiency in creating revenue-generating business use cases to drive strategic initiatives and deliver tangible business value.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Agile methodologies, development, testing, test automation, and DevOps.
  • Proven track record of assessing and improving Agile process maturity within large organizations.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), and practices.
  • Experience leading Agile transformation initiatives and driving cultural change.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in metrics analysis for data-driven engineering, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience conducting specific Agile trainings and workshops for teams and customers, delivering engaging and impactful sessions.
  • High proficiency in creating revenue-generating business use cases, with a demonstrated ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
  • Either of the relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or SAFe Agilist (SA) is a must.
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development, with a commitment to staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
