Job Purpose:


As a Blog/Content Writer, you will be responsible for producing original content for blogs and other content tasks for a variety of hospitality clients predominately located in the US and UK.


Responsibilities:

  • Create and edit compelling blogs and other original content in English, based on provided topics and SEO keywords for USbased and UKbased clients.
  • Work with the Content Lead and other Content Team members to receive tasks, including blog topics and keywords, and perform edits/revisions as needed.
  • Utilize both provided and independent research to successfully complete each project on time & on budget.
  • Ensure all assigned content tasks are completed within the posted deadline, and reflect both agency and client standards.
  • Clearly and proactively communicate any issues with assets or missing information with Content Lead/Manager.
  • Track hours and assignments within a task management system.
  • Revise content with requested changes submitted by internal teams and clients.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in English or Creative Writing.
  • 2+ years of experience in creating content in English for different audiences.
  • Deep understanding of both US and UK grammar and phrasing.
  • Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of the target audience and hospitality marketing.
  • Knowledge of best practices for onpage SEO (or willingness to learn).
  • Experience with task tracking software preferred.
